IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER:

Working with a psychologist or therapist via telehealth is not always appropriate, and it may be in your best interest to find a therapist near you with whom you can meet in person. For some people, it is essential to be sitting face-to-face in a room with their therapist due to the intensity or acute nature of their mental health concerns. It is especially important if you are experiencing active suicidal thoughts, engaging in self-harming behaviors, or having thoughts about harming other people, animals, or institutions. If this describes you, please call 988 or 911 or go to the nearest emergency room to seek help immediately.
